my red romper - a casual look

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing great. I'm okay myself as well. You all might have heard the news about the past few disastrous days in some part of the east coast. I was really praying for the people there and hoping that everyone's safe. I am just glad that the hurricane wasn't as bad as it was predicted to be. Anyway, last month I had booked a ticket to New Jersey for the 27th of August to go visit one of my best friends and due to the weather my tickets were cancelled and was rescheduled for this Wednesday i.e the 31st of August, so I had about a week more to spend here with my boyfriend. We went to the nearest mall and went out to eat and just spent some good times together. I wore a red romper that I had bought last weekend. I loved its color and the material itself is so soft and light that I just loved it and here are some of the pictures.

Please ignore the other clothes I'm holding; I didn't realize it until I was ready to upload it. But ya this is how I pass my time waiting for my boyfriend outside the fitting room while he's having fun trying on some clothes. There was a time when he used to not enter a store with me at all for shopping but these days he waits for me outside the fitting room and even comments on the clothes I pick. We do this for each other since we don't have many friends around this new place that my boyfriend moved to.

Aussie 3 minute miracle Review

Hello lovely people,

I had mentioned in my previous beauty post that I enjoy trying new hair products. I found one of the Aussie product that I really wanted to try. It's Aussie 3 minute miracle moist deep conditioner. I bought an 8 fl oz squeeze tube from Walmart for just about $3.00.

I have a thick, dry hair and I need a good conditioner to keep it in good shape. Normally, I just use my moisturizing hydralicious reconditioning conditioner after shampooing my hair but since I found this 3 minute miracle product I've been skipping my conditioner. What I do is first I shampoo my hair and rinse it, then I apply a good amount of this deep conditioning cream through my hair. While the conditioner is doing it's job, I use my face scrub, relax for few minutes and then rinse my hair. This product directs you to leave on the conditioner for 2 minutes and 45 seconds, then rinse with warm water and again with cool water. After washing my hair, i noticed it was soft and smooth and it smells good too.

I'm planning to use this deep conditioner once or twice a week. It is a simple and affordable way to fix your dry, damaged hair. I think it's an excellent product and the price makes it even better. I wouldn't exactly recommend it for thin hair because you might encounter oily hair after using this product, but for thick, dry or damaged hair I would definitely say Yes to this Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner.

Thank you all for reading. I hope it's helpful for some of you who are looking for a deep conditioner.

Lots of love. :)

my outfit of the day

Hello beautiful people,

How do you normally spend your weekend? As for me, it's the only time my boyfriend has whole lot of time out of his work so our normal weekend goes by doing the same things mostly. We enjoy our breakfast together, go shopping, meet his relatives, go to a theater if there is anything interesting to watch and then cook something good for dinner or go out to our favorite restaurants. This weekend passed the same way as well but even though it was a normal routine, we both enjoyed our time together. :)

I wanted to try on my shirt I got last weekend from Forever21 and I thought it looked better with my light blue skinny jeans than a short or a skirt and the weather wasn't as bad so jeans was tolerable. I had a very light makeup done. I simply put on my mascara, pink eye shadow and eye liner and wore a light peachy-pink blush and a rose-pink lipstick. I had some pictures taken in my backyard and I wanted to share it with you all.

Hello dear black outfit

Hi beautiful people,

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I didn't do much in my part, just stayed home, watched a movie, went on a drive around the town with my boyfriend and that's about it.

Since this summer started I was avoiding my black outfits, and I was kinda missing them. So for a change, this afternoon I wore my black shorts and my black top with my jute braided sandals and my sunglasses. To give my outfit a light touch, I threw on a black and white striped belt. Not that I don't like jewelries but most of the times, I like keeping it simple and not accessorize much.

Thank you everyone for reading. I hope you have a great day. Happy Blogging!

Lots of love :)

Friends and Fashion- Sex and the City

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share some interesting quotes while enjoying fabulous outfits from one of my favorite series Sex and the City. I love the sense of style every individuals in this series have. Each of them are very strong, smart, funny, beautiful and good in what they do.

Carrie: “I like my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet.”
Carrie: “Honey, if it hurts so much, why are we going shopping?”
Samantha: “I have a broken toe, not a broken spirit.”
Carrie:When I first moved to New York and I was totally broke, sometimes I would buy Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more.
Carrie's answering machine message: Hi I'm not here but my shoes are, so leave them a message.
Carrie: I had a life in New York. I had a job and friends and I didn't give all that to wander the streets of Paris alone.
Carrie: I am someone who is looking for love; real love, ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each other love.
(Responding to a drunk guy who said Miranda had a fat ass)
Samantha: For your information, her ass is fat because she just had a baby! What's your excuse?
Carrie: Yeah, you having triplets?
Carrie: 38 is young depending upon whom you're talking to.
Carrie: People go to casinos for the same reason they go on blind dates- hoping to hit the jackpot. But mostly, you just wind up broke or alone in a bar.
Carrie: Balls are to men what purses are to women.
Carrie: So many roads. So many detours. So many choices. So many mistakes.
Carrie: They say nothing lasts forever; dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style.

Thank you all for reading. I hope you enjoyed it. Happy blogging and have a wonderful day!

Lots of love  :)

How do u choose your hair products?

Hi wonderful people,

What do you look for when you buy a hair product? Do you look for any that is less expensive or do you look for the one that is labeled according to your hair type or do you simply pick your favorite brand product regardless of what hair type that specifies? As for me, I would look for the brands that I like and is affordable because I like trying different kinds to see which fits my hair type better.

I've always loved Dove products so I like sticking with it when it comes to shampoo. I do try different shampoos once in a while but I tend to switch back to Dove. These days, I've been using Dove damage therapy intensive repair shampoo to prevent any split ends and breakage. It has micro moisture serum that strengthens and nourishes hair from root to tip and fiber actives that deeply penetrates to reconstruct it. For conditioner I'm using Herbal Essences hydralicious reconditioning conditioner. It gives moisture to my dry hair and also keeps it very soft. I've recently started using Herbal Essences set me up mousse with extra hold to keep my hair in place and frizz free.

When I use a blow dryer or a flat iron I use Tresemme heat tamer spray. I've also been using John Frieda frizz-ease heat defeat spray sometimes but personally, I like the Tresemme one just because it makes my hair look better. I had heard John Frieda frizz-ease keeps your hair frizz free but it didn't do that in my case. My hair looked very dry, dull and frizzy while I used it so I'm going to stick with the Tresemme spray until I find a new one that I want to try. I've used John Frieda hair serum and the hair spray and both had worked well with my hair but I didn't like the heat defense one. The next hair product you can see in the picture is a glossing cream that my boyfriend had got from Great Clips. First of all, it smells great, it's just amazing and the glossing cream makes your hair very soft and smooth. Overall, I like it.

So far, these are some hair products I like which are very affordable and I'm still open to try new products that I would love; I haven't found one yet but will definitely share with you if i find something that's great.

I love my hair now more than I used to. It's getting much better than before. The splits ends and the color are all gone and my hair is healthier and shinier and softer.

Thank you all for reading and I hope you guys have a great day.
